A matter of culture

Operating in Trentino-Alto Adige

Operating in Trentino-Alto Adige does not simply mean working in an extraordinary environment: here there are cultural standards passed down from generation to generation.

It is not just a beautiful place to work, but a place where the quality of the products must match the beauty of the landscape in which they are produced.

The quality of the product is guaranteed by the deep dedication of local farmers, raised from a young age in respect for nature and the animals that inhabit it daily.

It is no coincidence that these are almost always organic or free-range farms: many local farmers have never seen a hen in a cage, and could hardly imagine an animal spending its entire life locked inside one.

Why does the hen need to be healthy?

It is often thought that there is no difference — other than the moral one — between a careful, animal-friendly farm and a traditional cage farm.

In our farms, the care for the animals is directly reflected in the nutritional values of our eggs — and the numbers confirm it.

...The results of our method speak for themselves...

Numbers that speak for themselves

Our hens live in such a favourable environment that they produce eggs of over 70 grams, when the market average is between 53 and 63 g.

Consider that for every 100 g of one of our eggs, an average of 13 g of protein is measured.

The quality of the final product is directly proportional to the quality of life of the animal. We work every day to keep this proportion at its maximum.

Nutritional values per 100 g

  • Energy 380 kJ / 92 kcal
  • Protein 13 g
  • Fats 8,7 g
  • of which saturated 3,17 g
  • Carbohydrates traces
  • Salt 0,341 g
Excellent source of vitamins and minerals such as vitamin A, E, D, B1, B12, iron and selenium.

What are the ideal living conditions?

The hens that produce our eggs live according to three fundamental principles:

Selected feed

As with an athlete, the quality of nutrition determines the quality of the result. Our hens receive certified feed, formulated to promote animal health and the nutritional richness of the egg.

Free-range grazing at altitude

Free to graze in mountain environments, in the fresh and clean air of Trentino-Alto Adige, with ample space to move naturally and follow the rhythms of nature.

Health monitoring

Constant monitoring of animal health and specialised veterinary interventions at every sign of need, because a healthy animal produces a healthy egg.

What do we take care of?

In short: everything.

Vogliamo tenere gestire ogni fase, dall'allevamento alla consegna al cliente, per poter vigilare e garantire il risultato finale in ogni momento.

It is not just a matter of method: it is a matter of culture. That culture that leads us to care for details that other producers, in other parts of the world, would not even be able to notice.
